Ito Hajime

Areas of Research/Expertise

Dr. Hajime Ito studied the development of new catalytic reactions with homogeneous transition metal catalysts in solution. In addition, many mechano-responsive luminescent materials in solid-state were reported by them. On mechanochemistry, the major research interests of this laboratory are high-performance cross-coupling reactions, mechanoredox reactions, polymer modification, and organometallic compound synthesis.
