Zdenka Lukacova Bujnakova

Areas of Research/Expertise

MSc. Zdenka Lukacova Bujnakova, PhD., is working at the Institute of Geotechnics SAS from 2009. She has finished PhD. study at Faculty of Metallurgy at Technical University in Košice in 2013. From 2016 she is working as a Senior Scientist and she is currently a head of the Department of Mechanochemistry at the Institute of Geotechnics. She is engaged in many tasks regarding the mechanochemical synthesis of materials, but she is very experienced in the field of preparation of nanosuspensions for medical applications. She published 65 scientific papers in CC journals. Her work was cited 260 times in SCI database. She has been co-investigator or deputy of principal investigator in many national and international projects and she has presented the scientific results at national and international conferences. She spent several months at Technische Universität Clausthal, and short stays at Institute of Material Science of Seville (CSIC-US), Sevilla and Institute of Catalysis, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia. In 2015, she obtained Young Research Scientist Award of Slovak Academy of Sciences (3rd place).
